Principal’s Message

Hi Families!

As we approach the much-anticipated December break, I wanted to take a moment to appreciate the incredible journey we've had so far this year.

I want to express my deepest appreciation to our students, parents, and staff. Your unwavering support, dedication, and commitment to our school community and supporting me as a first year principal have made this year memorable and successful.

This season signifies a time for reflection, gratitude, and celebration. It's a time to cherish the bonds we've formed, the knowledge we've gained, and the growth we've experienced together. Whether in classrooms, hallways, or virtual spaces, your resilience and adaptability have been truly remarkable.

While we'll all be taking a well-deserved break, let's remember to stay safe, take care of ourselves and each other, and return rejuvenated and ready for the adventures that the new year will bring.

Wishing you all a joyous break filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories.

Respectfully,

Principal Kobata

December Break

This year’s December Break will begin on Saturday,  December 23, 2023.  Monday, January 8, 2024 is a staff development day which means no school for kids.   Students will return to school on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Lost and Found

Our Lost and Found rack is getting full! There are some nice warm coats that our Bubb Cubs have left behind on the blacktop or playground. Check to see if you can find your student’s sweater, jacket or water bottle. It is located on the main hallway near Room 13. All parents are encouraged to label their child’s clothing with the student’s initials and room number. All unclaimed items are donated to charity at the end of the trimester.

Medication Forms

If your child requires medication to be kept at school, please pick up a medication release form from the school office. We cannot administer any medication without the forms.  Please note that all medication, even over the counter medications, need a medication form signed by your doctor.  For more information click here to be linked to the Physical Health webpage.

Short-Term Independent Studies

Family vacations should be planned outside the school year.  Please make every effort to schedule around our instructional calendar.  If your plans should include your child missing 3-14 days of school, please email Principal Kobata and your students' classroom teacher to discuss a short-term independent studies contract to minimize the impact of missed school days.
