Principal’s Message
Hi Families!
The month of May is Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage month. This is an opportunity to recognize the diverse cultures and traditions within the AAPI communities. From the ancient arts of China and Japan to the vibrant dances of Polynesia, AAPI cultures have shaped our state’s history and continue to enrich our society in countless ways.
Please take this time to explore the history and achievements of AAPI individuals. There are many resources, books and documentaries that highlight the experiences and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. This is also a great reminder to continue promoting diversity and inclusion within our school community. We want open dialogue, to embrace different perspectives, and celebrate the cultural mosaic that makes Bubb a special place.
Respectfully,
Principal Kobata
