Principal’s Message

Dear Bubb Families,

Happy New Year and welcome back!  We were delighted to see our Bubb Cubs back on Tuesday clamoring to share all they did over break.  I am eager to continue the excellent work and strengthen our partnership. Happy New Year!

Over the next two weeks, I will be visiting classrooms to welcome back students and review the Bubb Way.  We expect the best from our Bubb Cubs in both character and academics!  We also begin ELPAC testing with the Interim Assessment next week, and then start Summative ELPAC February 3.

We have many gatherings and events coming up.  First, we hope you join us at our Math Night on Tuesday 01/14 in the MUR at 6:00pm for some fun math games.  Julia Robinson Group will bring in wonderful mathematical experiences for our students and families, and our PTA will be sponsoring refreshments. We are also starting our “Love Logic” Parent University series next Wednesday, 01/15, from 6:00-7:30 pm in our MUR (childcare in library). Our Mrs. Dyer will help parents learn about raising resilient and kind children.  And finally, please join me and Dr. Skelly for Superintendent Coffee next Friday, 01/17 at 8:15am in our Staff Lounge.

You may have noticed that we are flying our flag half-staff.  We will be honoring President Carter’s passing until sunset on January 29th.  President Carter lived to be 100 years old, and the spirit of his life was service back to the community.  May we carry that legacy and seek ways to give back like President Carter did. Please check out PTA’s Konstella and our Bubb Bulletin for volunteering opportunities.

In Community,

Principal Jung
