Principal’s Message

Dear Bubb Families,

Our iReady Diagnostic #2 has now ended.  We thank our staff and Bubb Cubs for their hard work!  Our data will be shared at next week’s Board Meeting on Thursday, December 19th, and your student’s growth data will be ready for your viewing next Friday, December 20th, at 4:00pm.  Our final iReady Diagnostic will be May 13-14 for Math, and May 15-16 for Reading.  Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions.  And please remember, we have access to iReady instructional math lessons at home for K-5.

I look forward to welcoming our families in these upcoming meetings:  We have ELAC meeting tonight at 5:30pm in the Staff Lounge, and School Site Council meeting tomorrow online at 4:00pm.  And, finally, please join me Friday morning for Principal’s Coffee to give your input on Bubb’s Outdoor Learning Plans.  Please bring ID for office check in.

In Community,

Principal Jung

Classroom Treats Reminder

Bubb has a lunch program, and extra outside food interferes with that.  If your child has a celebration, we kindly ask for non-food items like goodie bags.  This protects our program and also respects food allergies and sensitivities.  If you would like to bring a food item, your teacher will distribute it at the end of the day for students to take home and not consume in school. Thanks for your understanding.

MVWSD Film Festival

Use WeVideo to create a short film that addresses a problem and develops, or highlights a thoughtful solution. Explore an issue - big or small - that affects you, your community, or the world, and a solution that inspires change or brings hope. It could be a story of innovation, community action, environmental impact, or any subject that matters to you.  Films due March 7th, 2025.

Open to students in grades K - 8, both individual and group entries accepted. Films have a 3 minute maximum and must be created using WeVideo. Top films in each grade level will have their film featured at the District Film Festival on April 1st!

Prop 28 - Arts and Music in Schools Funding
