September 22, 2021 Bulletin (English )

Dear Families,

On Monday, all of our Bubb cubs received a brand new hat!  It has been fun to see the students show pride in their school by wearing their hats out at recess and in the community.  After more than a year apart, we have been intentionally planning ways to promote unity and belonging at school:

*Every student has a Bubb hat (courtesy of Bubb School) and a Bubb shirt (courtesy of Bubb PTA) to show off their school spirit.  We wear our shirts on Fridays and our hats any and every day!  (Remember to write your child’s name and room number inside the hat.)

*We continue our weekly morning meetings.  (You can check them out on our facebook page.)

*Welcome week was a success--we are planning “revisit days” with schoolwide activities at the end of each trimester.

*All teachers have read a book called All Learning is Social and Emotional.  We are weaving social emotional learning throughout our school day.

*We celebrate students for following the BUBB way through Cub Kudos.

*Each class meets with their Bubb Buddy class at least once a month.  This month, Buddy classes reviewed and rehearsed the Bubb way together.

If you have a recipe from your culture that you would like to share and teach over Zoom, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Richa Goyal at [email protected] by September 24, for information on hosting a class. Let's all celebrate our multicultural community together!
