April 6, 2022 Bulletin

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE:

Dear Families,

Please stop by our final Allies Against Racism session tonight!  All are welcome, even if you missed session #1 or haven’t finished all of the lessons in Clever.  We will be on Zoom (link) at 6:00.

In the upcoming weeks, the Bubb teachers and I will be collaborating to create class lists for the next school year.  Decisions we make with regard to your child’s future placement reflect our best professional judgment as to where individual children will be most successful.  When grouping students, we strive to create a positive learning environment for all students and consider factors such as gender, academics, and special needs.  If there is additional information that you feel would be helpful for us to know, please fill out this survey by April 22nd.  Please note that we are NOT accepting requests for specific teachers.

Our awesome PTA is planning some fun activities (some virtual and some in-person!) for the end of the year.  Please see the PTA section of the Bulletin for more information.  I am really looking forward to the Virtual Paint Night on 4/22 and the Outdoor Movie Night on 4/29!  Also, you might use the Spring Break to rehearse and/or record your submission for our annual Talent Show!

Your child was sent home with a single COVID test today.  Please use this COVID test on Sunday, 4/17 prior to returning to school.  Instructions are attached to the COVID test.  Wishing you and your family a restful and safe Spring Break!

In partnership,

Principal Cyndee

If your child has symptoms or a positive result, he/she must stay home. Please see https://www.mvwsd.org/returntolearn for detailed COVID information. Have a safe and restful time away.

COVID masking

Both outdoor and indoor masking is strongly recommended (but no longer required) for students and staff in our schools and offices. However, there are times that masks are still very highly recommended.

Lunch lines are open!

Multi-use rooms opened for food distribution this week as a result of loosened COVID restrictions. Students will wear masks as they pick up food indoors. Outdoor eating will continue.
